Finding Balance and Empowerment in the Alps

January is the perfect time to pause, reconnect and rejuvenate. This retreat has been created specifically to provide leaders the space and support to ensure success in the year ahead, through a blend of interactive, holistic mind-body work and fun mountain activities.

Surround yourself with stunning scenery and other like-minded leaders.

Through sessions of expertly-guided coaching, you will learn to harness your inner resources for greater personal resilience, enhanced performance and well-being. With the mountains on the doorstep, the afternoons are intentionally left open for you to make the most of the many Alpine activities on offer in this major ski area, or simply to relax by a roaring fire or soak in the luxury hot tub and enjoy the views.

You’ll live in comfort and style with no more than 7 other people at top-rated chalet Maison la Cerisaie – in the beautiful French mountain village of Sixt Fer à Cheval, just 75 minutes from Geneva airport.

The retreat is facilitated by executive coach Sally-Anne Airey and Benjamin Cox, teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong and practitioner in Chinese medicine. Sally-Anne and Ben will work with you collectively and individually to enhance your sense of the inner balance that comes from mind-body alignment – connecting your thoughts, feelings and actions.

They’ll help you gain greater insight into the way your behaviours impact the results you achieve. You’ll feel empowered to reach your peak performance, both in the boardroom and on the mountain.

In the afternoons, you’ll be free to choose your own activities from a selection, including skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Sixt is one of the five resorts of the Grand Massif, France’s 4th largest linked ski area, with over 165 km of pistes and a huge variety of terrain for all levels, including excellent off-piste opportunities. Its great snow record is partly thanks to the ‘fridge’ effect of nearby Mont Blanc. And its natural beauty makes it perfect for practically every form of winter activity.

If you prefer to take things a little easier and read a book by the fire, go for a walk or simply relax, that’s OK too. In-chalet massage will also be available.

“A magical chalet with a skiing and retreat experience in one. Not only do you have the most stunning setting (a little away from the madding ski crowds), outstanding food, incredible hosts and caring service, but you come away with a sense of renewed energy and calm.”
